Mr Bubbles and Aleyse in the bubble bath

I got the bubble bath idea from the internet. So I figured Devin could be Mr Bubble's. I just made a box and cut out holes for him to fit in it. Devin did well considering that big box covered most of his body. Aleyse did well also. She fell asleep before the parade. We marched uptown and that is where they announced the winners. Sure enough they called our name for cutest couple. I was excited they won! They won money, candy, and even got their pics in the local news paper. Hope everyone had a happy halloween!! Enjoy our indian summer!!

Randomness with the kiddos

Just cute pics of my kids!!

Night Getaway

The weekend of Oct 11 we got away for the night. My younger sister Chels kept both kids and we went to Cleveland and stayed. She lives in Mentor. So we took the kids their first then went back to Cleveland. David and I went to winking lizards to eat supper then had tickets for a show at hilarities comedy club. The main comedian was great. We stayed at the Radisson downtown. The pics are just random pics. One of the skyline while we were driving, our hotel room, another of the browns stadium, and one of the lake along side the highway. I'm so thankful my sister was able to watch them. David and I had a blast and it was nice to get away and not worry about dirty diapers for the day. Devin still talks about staying at chels's place. They must have had a good time too.

Aleyse's first haircut

Yes I know she is way to young to have a haircut, but with hair that long you have to do something. So I decided to cut bangs. I like her hair so much better. She was 5months when I cut it.

Family reunion

Our family reunion was the beginning of Oct. That is how long it's been since I blogged. A few pics to share from the reunion.

It's been a long time

Farming days are here! These are a couple of pics David took. One with Devin and one of the new combine!!

Adult 10 yr reunion

After our fun afternoon with the kids we had some adult fun. I helped plan a night the involved a pizza buffet. What a blast we had. There was 27 total people with spouses. Maybe someday our class reunion will be a bit larger. Some of us even went and toured the school. Next year the school may not be there as they will tear it down since the new one is being built. Then back to pete's as some of us stayed through the night and had loads of fun. It is always fun to catch up with old classmates.

10 yr class reunion

During the day a few of us got together and went to the local corn maze. The kids seemed to have a blast except the weather was yucky. I had bought a few gifts for the kids and handed them out after they had their fun. Maybe next class reunion we will have a few more kids there.

Crazy randomness

It has been very hectic around here lately. The kids are growing like weeds as you can see from the pictures. Aleyse is grabbing objects, hair and her toes already. She rolled from tummy to back yesterday morning. She also loves to talk. Devin is progressing at peeing on the potty. He loves going back to tammys and has been sick already. He had a fever last week. We did manage to make him feel better for the last tractor pull on Sat night. We had a great year with 7 wins all together. That is great considering we only had it apart a few times. I have been slacking at the blogging with 2 kids and working fulltime it is impossible to sit at the comp. I like being back to work but the time schedule I do not like. I leave @ 7:30 in the morning and when I get home it is around 5:30. That leaves the kids @ the sitters almost 10 hrs. I will keep up the blogging as long as time allows. My kids are my first priority. This fall and winter will bring many new first with Aleyse and farming and etc. I will keep everyone updated!!!

Ready for Show Time

This is how Devin gets ready for the tractor pull. He just loves to work beside Daddy and Papa.
The semi in the picture is not our new ride it is a buddy's from WI. They were pulling in Sandusky OH and decided to leave it here. So David could take it to BG tonight along with our semi. It was pretty cool having another rig parked in the driveway. We even had to get one of the tractor's out and work on it. Yes we I even helped. Our Anniversary was Aug 3 and we spent Fri night at a t.p. We just can't stay away from them. We did have a good time but it was a late night. I will definitely post pics from the weekend when we get back. I will be another year older by then my b-day is tom.

It's been awhile!

It's been awhile since I blogged. I do miss doing it all the time, but juggling two kids, work(40 plus hours a week and cutting hair), tractor pulling, and trying to plan a class reunion it's been hectic around here. I mean hectic. It has been a very successful t.p season though. We are gearing up for the big show in B.G. this weekend. I am very excited for that!! The pics are just random pics of the kids playing and Cassie's b-day party.

Check out my Slide Show!

More from Troy, Wilmington, & and Bucyrus

Time flies when you are having fun. I go back to work in less than a week(boohoo). What a weeknd we had a very successful one. Won 2-3 pulls. We left Thurs for Troy MO(almost 10 hrs). It was hotter then heck out there, but a nice pull. There were only 7 tractors. We ended up 6-7. Never really hooked to the track. Didn't break anything which was good considering we had 2 more pulls for the weekend. Bud Gettinger won that pull. Go john deere!
After that pull and no rest we had to pack up and come back to OH for a pull Sat night. Left there at 10:30 and followed the Gettingers back to their place(IN). It was about a 6 hr drive or so. I think we went to bed @ 5am then back up by 8. There hospitality was greatly appreciated. By 1 we all packed up and headed for Wilmington. That drive took just a mere 2-
2 1/2 hrs. It was a beautiful day on Sat. Ended up a great day we took first place that night. Kathy and I had decided to have a cookout for the pullers(dennys birthday was thurs). I had cooked all week. Made 8lbs of sloppy joes, spinach dip, 2 loaves of bread, and 2 bathces of brownies. Even some of the other pullers wives helped out and cooked. We are so greatful to be in this sport and have such a great big extended "pullin family"!
A cousin of mine came up to the pull with her family. Her kids had never been to a pull. I know they had a good time. I'm sure her kids would love to come again. Glad they came to a pull we had won.
That night we packed up and headed for home. Pulled in at 2:30am. Sun we had wanted to go to our hometown pull in Bucyrus. Denny was so against going but we(thanks to the burgers) pulled his arm and leg and talked him into going. He was the last hook of the night and last class. So it was late again. We were all rooting and cheering as he pulled. The distance to beat was 314.75. He pulled and did not look like he beat him, but he did by 2 feet. So that was our very successful weeknd. I will post some pics as soon as I can figure out how to do a slideshow of them.
