update in a nutshell!!

July 4th weekend

We had loads of fun over the 4th. We went swimming and watched fireworks and did a whole bunch of things with family and friends. These are just a few pics from the weekend.

Aleyse's first swim

A week ago we decided to take Aleyse swimming for the first time. About three minutes she was fine then you would have thought her brother was biting her. She screamed bloody murder till we got her out. That is why we do not have any pics of her in the water. We will one of these days take her again and she will get used to it. Maybe the weekend we can take her cousins and we can get some good pics!

Fun in the Sun!

Since it has been so hot I thought a little pool would be fun to play in. Devin really enjoyed it so much it even wore him out after he was all done.

Hanging with Darren and Cassie

Over the weekend Darren and Cassie came down for a visit. We had not seen them since Devin's b-day party the end of Dec. We had a blast with them. We took them swimming Sat night after Aunt Debbie had a fish fry potluck. We all had fun Aunt Chels and Dan-Dan even came out. From the pics you can see we had a blast. Then Sun morning Grammy and Poppy took us all out to breakfast 10 of us. We had fun!!

Hinkley party Aug 11

We spent the day up in Hinkley. That is where my sister lives. Her boyfriend Dan lives there also. We celebrated Dan Graduating from college. Had a great time meeting his family and friends. They live in a beautiful house and have a nice pool. So we had to show off Devin and how he can swim. Was a little chilly so I choose not to swim.

Chels got a rude awaking when one of Dan's friends tried to throw her in the pool. Good thing she was sitting by the ladder. She only got her pants wet. Next time Chels!
